I wrote a letter to our Senator Mark Udall regarding National Defense Authorization Act (FY12 NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2012 (H.R.1540). What are these people thinking? I know there are many liberal Americans as well as conservatives who feel as I do that terrorism needs a close watch and actions to stem the diabolical thinking.  But wake the fuck up and see what is coming. Armbands, Socialism, Big Brother for shit sake? I appreciate the response even though it’s a boilerplate form letter. And I appreciate the fact that the illustrious senator has a prepared response. But this legislation is an abomination. It allows the government to gain one step closer to the demise of democracy and our freedoms.

It begins, “Dear Dan, Thank you for contacting me regarding controversial detainee provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act (FY12 NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2012 (H.R.1540).  I appreciate hearing your thoughts on this important topic.”

Here’s the rest. Wait, let me bend over to receive my reward for believing in America.

Credit Reporting

by danraabe on January 22, 2011

I found out that when you “follow” the link that is sent to you announcing that your free credit report is ready at Experian -you must establish an account with them to download the credit report, you are giving Experian the OK to charge you monthly. These bastards are relying on the fact that you will forget this act of free will and not cancel your account. Then they start charging you $14.95 per month for access to your credit report plus an upgrade to look at your credit score -which by all means is fictitious as banks and anyone else relies on your FICO score which isn’t what you are paying for in the first place. Experian -screw them. Buyer beware!
